BLOCK SHOOTS   

The following are the dates for our upcoming block shoots

Jan 20, Feb 17 and March 16

Block shoots are always the third Sunday of the month and they start at 1 pm.  We shoot for meat prizes and also have raffles for meat prizes throughout the day. We also have hourly door prizes.  Are prizes include pork loins, hams, turkeys, steaks, roasts, chickens and assorted other prizes. The kitchen is open for food purchases and we have free refreshments. We had block shoots in Oct and Nov and turn out was low for both of these events. Please make plans to attend the next shoot and be sure to tell your friends. If you print a copy of events and present it at the door we will give you a free door prize ticket.

LONGABERGER BASKET BINGO

 On Jan 20 we held our first basket bingo. We had  approx 150 people attend the bingo. All reports were very good and everyone appeared happy. We are planning another bingo in the fall. Please watch for more details. The club wishes to thank Melissa Schmauch  for all the hard work she put in to make this a big success.                                                  

SUPER SPORTSMAN NIGHT

We had our super sportsman night on Nov 10. Ticket sales we better than last year but the turnout for the event was low. We raffled guns and other hunting and fishing items all night with the main drawing at 10:30 pm. We had mixed comments about this years tickets but because we had higher ticket sellers it would appear the cash and gift certificates we a big hit. We would be interested in any comments you might have about the ticket or the raffles. Please send us your comments.

ELECTIONS

We had elections at our Nov monthly meetings. I will post the results shortly. We still need a financial secretary, the person who handles the membership renewals, and a treasurer. If you are a member and would be interested in either of these positions please contact us.

RIFLE RANGE

Just as a reminder the rifle range will be closed during club events. Please see the calender for dates were the range will be closed.

INDOOR ARCHERY

Indoor archery will start on Monday, Jan 7 and will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings shooting starting at 6:PM. The league will run for 12 weeks. Nine scores are required to qualify for the league. The is also open shooting for those who do not wish to shoot in the league. Cost is $8 for non members for league shoot and $7 for practice. Club members save a dollar of shooting fees. Shooters 15 and under pay $5 for league and $4 for practice. Kitchen is open all three nights. League rules are available at the club. BLUE MT ARCHERY LEAGUE
